The Alison Group has been designing custom beer, wine, spirits and cider tap handles for over 50 years! Over that time we have made thousands of tap handles for some amazing breweries, wineries, distilleries, and coffee roasters; some tap handles are really nice but some are a different level of cool. There were far fewer breweries 30 years ago, but with the explosion of local and craft brewers the demand and need for a tap handle that stands out from the crowd have increased. These custom tap handles were all designed and produced by The Alison Group. They get the most attention and we get requests by many people to sell. Sweet Water Brewing - This very cool custom tap handle just in. It’s a replica of a fly fishing rod and reel. The cork looks real and is soft to the touch. The string coming from the spool is real and goes through real fishing guides. Overall, this cool tap handles will get a reaction.
Flying Mouse Brewery - this custom beer tap handle was a tremendous amount of work. Lots of detail hand painting around the mouse, goggles and jet pack. Many small water slide decals for the name, gauges and flying mouse. Front chalkboard area to write beer on tap.
Genesee Cream Ale - this customer tap handle is a replica of a guitar headstock with real turning pegs and string. All graphics are raised and molded.
Dogfish Head Brewery - this custom beer tap handle is called the steampunk uber tap handle. This tap was done about 15 years ago and the gears do not move - I think if we had to remake we would have moving gears and maybe some light up parts.
Bogotá Beer Company - this custom tap handle is for a brewery in Columbia SA and is a replica of their vintage beer delivery truck. The round area at the bottom is recessed and used for interchangeable beer decals.
Brasserie du Sutter - this custom beer tap handle was made for a brewery or as they call it a brasserie in France. A cool molded and hand painted cow he is holding a sign that is used for interchangeable beer decals.
Gravity Brew Lab - this tap handle was made in both silver and gold and is called the spaceman. The flag is real fabric with a woven logo.
Steel Bender Brewyard - this custom set of beer tap handles have a retro design from the 50’s. These taps have received a lot of press and was written up in Brewbound and Creative magazines. There is a recessed area to accept changeable magnets.
Mountain Goat Beers - this cool “spinner” tap handle has 3 cubes with custom graphics on all 4 sides so when rotated they make a variety of fun images.
South Beach Brewing Company - this very detailed tap handle has a lot of hand painted work. The Blood Orange Sunset IPA flamingo was first designed by the artist Lebo.
The Heavy Metal Brewing Company - this unique tap handle is also a bobble head so it can rock out to the music - or when the keg is tapped.
Savage Craft Brewery - this is one of our newest tap handles and took a lot of design and prototype work to get the perfect shape for the hand, skull, snake and knife. The area at the bottom is recessed for changeable beer magnets.
Wildrose Brewing - this custom tap handle has molded and hand painted skulls on 3 sides. Wrapped with real wire to look like barbwire.
Breckenridge Brewing - this cool tap handle is molded from resin to look like real wood. The skull is hand painted with details and the wheat is metal.
Tito’s Handmade Vodka - this tap handle is not for beer, but for a special vodka drink - the Tito’s American Mule. This tap is made from copper with a resin lime at top.
